Marianne is the author of the Pushcart Prize nominated story collection Love Is Blind in One Eye, the memoir Silvie’s Life, and numerous travel stories, short fictions, essays, and book reviews. See WRITING for links and details.

In 2019, her short short story “BFFs” was a Finalist for the Ernest Hemingway Flash Fiction Prize and her book of essays Lucid Moments was a Semifinalist for the Tamaqua Award from Hidden River Arts.

In 2018, “Consuela Speaks Her Mind” was a Finalist in Narrative magazine’s Spring Story Contest. Her work also made the Short List for the Bath International Novella-in-Flash Award that year, as well as Top 10 for Sequestrum’s Editor’s Reprint Award, and Top 10 for the Tillie Olsen Short Story Award. Her story "Attention" was one of three Top 10 Tillie Olsen Award winners to be published in the July 2018 issue of The Tishman Review.

Possessor of a PhD from CIIS Department of Transformative Studies, an MA in English: Creative Writing from San Francisco State University, and a BA in English from Livingston College, Rutgers NJ, Dr. Rogoff teaches in the MFA in Creative Writing program at Dominican University of California and the Department of Writing & Literature at California College of the Arts in San Francisco and Oakland.
